  1. Nice post, I think you may have forgotten a few:

    – “Meteorologists” can accurately predict meteor showers… and thats it.
    – Doggie day cares abound
    – Women can vote
    – The sports teams break hearts in the playoffs, leaving one with shattered hopes and a realistic outlook on life.
    – 34 fire stations
    – The street grid is a comfortable SW by NE
    – The sidewalks on street corners slant down to street level for those in wheelchairs
    – You are closer to the stars
    – There are busses that can take you where you want to go
    – Children laugh in the streets

    • Ryan, Awesome! Yes. you are right. I did forget those things and a million more I am sure. Perhaps a version 2 is in order. 🙂 Thanks for your thoughts. I think “closer to the stars” is my most favorite! Great list!

  2. You forgot to mention “one of the best music scenes in the entire country, and the greatest outdoor amphitheatre in the world”

    • Red Rocks Amphitheater is the best place on earth to see music! I’ll be spending a lot of time there this summer.

    • Good one Ryan. Red Rocks is a biggie for sure. Love it!

    • “and the greatest outdoor amphitheatre in the world”…..er no. Maybe second place to the Gorge for the US.

  3. I with that 1/10th of a cent tax was used for schools. I’d have to say that I’m less than impressed with DPS.

    • I see what you mean. Of course, no amout of funding to schools can teach someone to proof their writing before hitting the send button.

  4. Awesome, Ryan. Do you work for the Denver Chamber of Commerce? If not, you should.
