  1. Sounds like you guys have a winner, but I don’t believe the average temperature in February and maybe a couple of other things. You can keep your sky-high Denver; I’ll stick with the most exciting city in the world—NEW YORK CITY!!!

  2. I liked Denver when it was a hard luck snow ball of town like it was in the sixties, seventies, and eighties.

  3. As much as I love my City I must correct you on your assertion that we lead the Nation in High School Graduation rates. Denver Public Schools is not even close. Barely 50% of students graduate high school, and of those going on to College more than 60% require remedial courses. Sure Boulder and Douglas County have graduation rates over 80% but that is NOT the case for our DPS students. We cannot live in a bubble that all is blissful when it most certainly is not. What is to happen to the 50% of students who don’t complete High School? What career opportunities do they have? Don’t fool yourself, inequality is alive and well in the Mile High City. http://blogs.westword.com/latestword/2009/12/_denver_public_schools_high.php

  4. Also forgot Denver has one of the best and growing Transportation systems (Light Rail) in the country. Beating out Portland (almost).
