#6 From Near-Fatal Asthma Attack to Inhaler-Free for 17 Years
Jim Quinlan was diagnosed with asthma when he was in his 30s. Initially, he was reluctant to use the prescribed inhaler. With time, he was terrified to leave home without it. Jim’s asthma became so severe that an asthma attack almost killed him. Through his own research and perseverance, Jim determined that his severe asthma was caused by a bacterial infection. With this knowledge Jim started taking antibiotics and cured himself in 1995. He has not used his inhaler or any asthma medication since.
Excerpt from Jim’s story:
What are the signs people should look for in determining if there is a high chance that they have a Chlamydia pneumonia infection?
If you have adult onset of asthma and/or if all of the sudden you have really bad asthma, there is a very high probability you may have it. If you have had mild asthma all your life, then it’s hard to tell if this treatment would apply to you or not — but it might.
Does Chlamydia pneumonia-induced asthma produce constant asthmatic symptoms, or does it come and go with days, weeks or seasons?
It is severe. You are always on edge, not knowing where your next breath is coming from. It was always, for me, really difficult to breathe at night. But everyone has different triggers that set it off.
