Angkor Wat, Cambodia {Weekly Top 10}

Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia is one of my favorite places in the world. 75 square miles of 100+ carved stone ruins dating back to the 9th century in various states of repair. If you find yourself in Southeast Asia we highly suggest a week long pass and bicycles because this place is enormous and awesome.

As It Is takes you inside Angkor Wat. Enjoy. Your welcome.

Stone reliefs at Angkor Wat.

Bayon Wat.

Angkor Wat.

All made from carved stone.

This is the actual face of the king who built this temple on almost every surface.

In some of the temples they have let nature take over.

Miles of this kind of stuff.

Inside Angkor Wat.

One of the many amazing entrances to the city.

  1. Sounds a good write up My wife and I are considering the far east for a hoaildy next year. We initally considered China, but most places over there look interesting anyway. We also prefer it off the tourist route, tracks etc.. not our scene really, we prefer to see the wild and natural side of a particular coumtry. All points East sounds right up our street.. All the best on future trips!!!!!!
